3 Things to Think About If You Are Going to Be Using Facebook Ads in the Future

If you are expecting to use Facebook ads in the future, check out my tips on 3 things you should make sure you are doing now to ensure that your audience is laser focused and you aren’t tossing dolla bills out the window. 

 1. Make sure your Facebook Page likes are your ideal clients or customers.

In the future, you will likely be using this audience to do two things including marketing directly to them and creating look-a-like audiences from them.  Therefore, you want to make sure these are your ideal peeps or Facebook will be targeting people who are not your ideals (aka you will be spending money on advertising to people who will not buy from you). 

When inviting people to like your page, make sure they are the right people.  You want quality over quantity.

 2. Get your pixel installed on your website, lead pages, training sites, etc.

Another audience that you will be able to create is your website visitors.  What better people to market to – an audience of people who are already interested in what you have to offer and have checked you out!  In order to do this, you need to have your Facebook pixel installed in the header so that you can even track these visitors.

If you have a Wordpress site, you can find plugins that will allow you to add this easily without being a tech genius.

3. Make sure your email list contains your ideal clients and customers.

Much like your page likers, you need to make sure that you have your ideal peeps on your email list.  This is why it is super important to poll your audience and give them exactly what they want and need before putting any freebies, webinars, trainings, etc out there. 

You can import your email list and create look-a-like audiences to market to with Facebook ads.  So the same reasoning applies here that applies with your page likers.

A little work ahead of time can give you audiences who are perfect for your biz!
